James Wallace was a former Everton midfielder who failed to break into the Blues first team.
James eventually left in June 2012 to join fellow Merseyside club Tranmere Rovers in the pursuit of regular first team football.
Did You Know? Wallace played for the Republic of Ireland at youth level but was forced to switch his allegiance to England when it was found out that he would not be eligible to play for Ireland at senior level!
Wallace joined Everton's youth academy at 13, before joining the reserves and ultimately the senior squad. He made his competitive début for Everton against Sigma Olomouc in the UEFA Europa League in August 2009.
Wallace was sidelined later that year with a double hernia problem that kept him out of action until 2010.
On 25 November 2010 he joined Bury on a month long loan. He made his debut for the club on 27 November in a FA Cup 2nd round match against Peterborough.
In February 2011 he joined Stockport County on loan and scored for the club on his debut on 19 February. During his spell at the club he was made captain towards the end of the season.
On November 3rd 2011 he signed for Shrewsbury Town and during his debut match for the team he was sent off for "Serious Foul Play" less than 30 minutes into the game.
He also went on to play for Stevenage and Tranmere Rovers on loan where he spent a few months towards the end of the 2011/12 season.
He signed for Merseyside neighbours Tranmere Rovers in June 2012.
