Francisco Santos Silva Júnior or Francisco Júnior for short is a Bissau-Guinean born Portugese midfielder who signed for Everton on a free in February 2012.
He has previously played for S.L. Benfica and had a trial at Manchester City, as well as the Portugal U19 and U21 football teams.
He was first called up for Portugal U19 in January 2011 for the 2011 La Manga Cup tournament.
In July 2011, he trialed with Manchester City, playing with their Development XI team in a friendly against Altrincham.
In February 2012, he signed professional terms with Everton on a free transfer, signing on a four-and-a-half year deal.
So far he has mostly featured for the reserves although he did play against Leeds United in the League cup but the less said about that one the better!
