This page will be updated more during the summer months with the latest rumours of players joining and leaving Everton.
The Latest Potential Incoming Transfers
- Jordi Gómez from Wigan Athletic (0/5) - Left sided Spanish midfielder, unlikely to leave Wigan this summer but could become target if Pienaar isn't signed up
- Harry Maguire from Sheffield United (2/5) - Everton and Newcastle are rumoured to be interested in the promising young defender
- Óscar Cardozo from Benfica (1/5) - Everton have apparently been looking at the Paraguay born striker but any deal seems unlikely due to his rumoured asking price of at least £8,000,000!
- Paul Taylor from Peterborough United (0/5) - Rumoured that Peterborough are aware of Everton's interest in the Liverpool born player who was with us as a youngster
- Kieran Richardson from Sunderland (1/5) - It seems that any player who can play in more than one position is now almost guaranteed to be linked with Everton this summer!
- Grant Holt from Norwich City (0/5) - Looked set to leave Norwich, but since signed new contract
- Adam Johnson from Manchester City (1/5) - The winger seems to be the new Riquelme getting linked with Everton every transfer window. Unlikely to leave City but if he does he wont be cheap!
- Matt Jarvis from Wolverhampton Wanderers (0/5) - Winger who is beginning to be linked with clubs due to Wolves relegation from the Premier League
- Park Ji-Sung from Manchester United (0/5) -
Unsubstantiated rumours that Everton are interested in the Man Utd midfielderPlayer signed for Q.P.R. - Jonathan de Guzman from Villarreal (0/5) - Dutch midfielder being linked with everyone after the Spanish side were relegated
- Steven Naismith from Rangers (5/5) -
Scottish forward who was Jelavic's strike partner up in Glasgow. Jelavic's success and with Rangers now in crisis could mean Moyes may make a move. Everton could move once the future of Rangers becomes more clear
Player signed for Everton On A Free - Matt Philips from Blackpool (0/5) - The manager has apparently watched the Blackpool attacking midfielder and any move could be dependant on how Blackpool do in the play-off's
- Balázs Megyeri from Olympiacos (1/5) - Everton again linked with a backup keeper
- Kevin Doyle from Wolverhampton Wanderers (1/5) - Between Evertonians its often said that Doyle is a typical Moyes type of player. He works hard for the team and could be the player to compliment Jelavic. With Wolves down then the striker becomes an obvious link
- Paul Connolly from Leeds United (0/5) - Transfer Listed by Leeds United, the right back could sign as squad player. A move for the boyhood Evertonian seems unlikely as we have Hibbert, Neville and youngsters who can all play at right back
- Nick Powell from Crewe Alexandra (0/5) -
The latest prospect for the future to come out of the AlexPlayer signed for Manchester United - Steven Fletcher from Wolverhampton Wanderers (1/5) - It's rumoured Moyes is looking for someone to play up or just behind Jelavic and the Fletch could be the man!
- Jonas Olsson from West Bromwich Albion (1/5) - Could be set to leave West Brom in the summer after failing to commit to a new long term contract. Seems a bit of a strange one but Moyes may be after cover for his current defenders
- Victor Moses from Wigan Athletic (1/5) - Moses has turned down a new contract offer to stay at Wigan and looks set to move. Any possible transfer could possibly depend on whether we sign Steven Pienaar but who knows!
- Dale Jennings from Bayern Munich (0/5) - Former Tranmere attacking midfielder rumored to be unsettled in Germany
- Bas Dost from Heerenveen (0/5) - Dutch Under 21 international also linked with Aston Villa
- Ryan Mendes from Le Havre (0/5) - Striker playing in France's second division
- Mohamed Diamé from Wigan Athletic (0/5) -
Could be an option as he's out of contract at the end of the season putting the midfielder within our price range. Liverpool are also apparently interested but Diame wants to play more and may see more of an opportunity to do that at EvertonPlayer signed for West Ham United
- Marián Kello on a Free Transfer (0/5) - Keeper has left Hearts, could sign as a backup to Tim Howard
- Clint Dempsey from Fulham (1/5) – Impressive form from the U.S.A midfielder has alerted some of the league's top clubs and it looks like Dempsey has done all he can for Fulham and a move could be in the offing. With Everton’s U.S.A connections and so on then it would seem a good fit for the attacking midfielder.
- Joey Barton from Queens Park Rangers (0/5) –
Says the time has never been right to join his boyhood hero’s and a move for Barton would be controversial, also it is doubtful there would be a place in the team for him. Although a move would initially be wholly unpopular, with the lack of local lads in the team he could be worth a punt especially if Q.P.R go down! The chances of Barton joining were slim to say the least but now after all that's gone on with him at Q.P.R, no chance! Shame because he was a cracking player - Fabian Giefer from Bayer 04 Leverkusen (0/5) It is possible a younger goalkeeper could come in as backup to Tim Howard
- Denis Stracqualursi from Tigre (1/5) - Could join if a relatively small fee can be agreed
- Gylfi Sigurðsson from 1899 Hoffenheim (0/5) -
Impressed for Swansea and is apparently being monitored by several clubs including Spurs and LiverpoolPlayer signed for Tottenham Hostpur - Ibrahim Afellay from Barcelona (0/5) - Why would he leave Barca and if he did it would no doubt be to a Champions League club with money!
- Lewis Holtby from Schalke (0/5) - Constantly being linked because he is apparently an Evertonian
- Mario Mandžukić from VfL Wolfsburg (0/5) -
Seems unlikely Moyes will blow anymore cash on a striker. Now looks set to move to Bayern Munich in GermanyPlayer signed for Bayern Munich - Moussa Dembélé from Fulham (1/5) - Has been linked but not sure if he is a Moyes type of player. Fulham's valuation could price Everton out of the market and are also reluctant to sell
- Steven Pienaar from Tottenham Hotspur (4/5) - Transfer fee and Spurs potential new manager could be stumbling blocks. It's not impossible that Harry Redknapp could look at the likes of Rodwell and Baines this summer and may use Pienaar as part of any deal
- Michael Owen from Manchester United (2/5) – One of the usual suspects in terms of Everton transfer speculation. Former Liverpool striker who has been blighted by injuries. Apparently turned down Everton in the past because of his obvious Liverpool connection and then joined Man Utd! Could be available for nothing in the summer
- Landon Donovan from L.A Galaxy (1/5) - Donovan came to Everton on loan in the U.S.A off season and then returned for the new MLS season with L.A Galaxy. An apparent fall out with his manager has led to speculation about his future. Coming on loan to Everton suited him fine compared to a permanent move away as it stopped him from getting too homesick. As the poster boy of the MLS he remains committed to the growth of the league and also the fact he probably doesn’t really want to give up his LA lifestyle might be a factor. Could return once more probably on loan before the end of his career
Potential Outgoing Transfers
- James Wallace to Tranmere Rovers (5/5) - Player signed for Tranmere Rovers
- Marouane Fellaini to Anybody (1/5) – Chelsea supposedly interested. Big Mo has demanded Everton spend to compete and without investment Fellaini will probably leave in the next few years
- Ross Barkley to Chelsea (0/5) - Ross seems to keep being linked with Chelsea most probably due to the fact that former Everton super-scout Mick Doherty is now on the books of the West London club so expect him to keep being linked.
- Jack Rodwell to Anybody (0/5) - Unlikely due to persistent injuries
- James McFadden to be released (4/5) -
Despite a good display coming on as a sub at Man Utd he still has a lot to prove to David Moyes to earn new dealPlayer was released at the end of his short term contract - Ján Mucha to be released (0/5) - Looks set to stay as backup to Tim Howard for at least one more season
- John Heitinga to Anybody (0/5) - No chance! Looks set to stay at Everton after outstanding season
- Leighton Baines to Tottenham, Man Utd or Arsenal (1/5) - You’d think very unlikely but rumour has it Arsenal are Interested! Man Utd are also rumoured to be after Bainesy
- Jose Baxter to be Anybody (5/5) -
Could leave Everton soon if he fails to break into the first team squad on a regular basis. Now looks set to stay and possibly get new dealLeft July 2012 On A Free Transfer - Marcus Hahnemann to be released (5/5) -
The American backup goalkeeper is likely to leave at the end of his short term dealPlayer was released at the end of his short term contract
